🌕 Creative Journaling Through the Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces

There’s something magical about sitting down with my journal when the moon is at her fullest. The energy feels heightened, emotions rise to the surface, and during an eclipse it all becomes even more amplified.

Why the Pisces Full Moon Eclipse Is So Powerful
Every full moon is a climax, a time of release and emotional intensity. Add in the eclipse energy and we’re stepping into what I call a cosmic reset — a chance to shed old stories, let go of outdated patterns, and realign with our soul’s purpose.
Pisces, as the last sign of the zodiac, adds another layer: reflection, surrender, and a deep dive inward. It’s an invitation to stop seeking answers outside ourselves and trust the wisdom we already carry within.
My Creative Journaling Ritual
In the video, I light a candle, bring in symbols of goddess and dragon energy, and use Yasmin Boland’s Moonology Oracle deck to guide the themes. From there, I let my pen, paint, and intuition lead the way.
One of the most powerful images that came through was the caterpillar transforming into a butterfly.
The process is messy (think “caterpillar soup”!), but transformation always is. What matters is trusting that the chrysalis stage — the in-between — is part of the journey.
Through color, imagery, and symbolism, I wove together the themes of release, healing, and self-compassion.
The butterfly emerged on the page as a reminder: you are not who you once were.
You are becoming.

🌕 Release is the theme. Eclipse energy amplifies the full moon’s natural call to let go.
🌕 Gratitude grounds us. Pausing to ask, “What am I grateful for?” shifts everything.
🌕 The chrysalis is sacred. Transformation requires a safe container — boundaries, rest, and trust.
🌕 Self-compassion matters. Be gentle with yourself in times of big change.
🌕 Your butterfly is waiting. Who you are becoming may not even look like who you are now — and that’s the beauty of transformation.
